在 Megger 值得信赖的电池放电测试系统系列中，TORKEL 900 是第四代产品。

测试可在恒定电流、恒定功率、恒定电阻或按照预先选定的加载配置文件进行。BVM 与电池电压记录器目前均直接与 TORKEL 900 相连，成为了一个完整的独立放电测试系统。

TORKEL 连接至电池后，放电电流和报警级别（电压、容量和时间）会被设定。放电开始之后，TORKEL 会将电流保持在预设水平。当电压降到略高于终止电压的水平时，TORKEL 会发出警报。当电压降到特别低，以致出现深度放电的危险时，TORKEL 会关闭测试。所有值都将存储在 TORKEL 中，并可以通过 USB 存储器轻松传输至 PC 以用于评估。

测试进行时无需将电池与供电设备断开。通过 DC 电流钳表，TORKEL 可以测量电池总电流，同时将其保持在恒定水平。此外，TORKEL 具备高放电容量，能够缩短测试时间。最大放电电流高达 220A，如果需要更高的电流，可以将两个或者更多 TORKEL 设备或额外的负载设备 (TXL) 连接在一起。
